何謂DTE和DCE

DTE全名為Data terminal equipment，是指一般的計算機，主要是給使用者端用的

DCE全名為Data circuit-terminating equipment，則是用來處理通訊的設備，主要是在中間處理訊號

DTE依賴DCE的Clock進行工作，比如電腦與數據機或是路由器

Cisco 上課練習

20130618 上課內容，架構如下

目標：要設定左右兩台Router的介面卡，並且安裝WIC-1T，並設定好Serial Interface


先把左右兩台Router關機，將WIC-1T模組安裝到Router上，在將Router開機

Cisco 儲存及刪除配置檔

之前在用Cisco Packet Tracer不知道如何去儲存配置檔，今天上課有交到
不儲存配置檔頂多重新啟動路時要重新設定

設定方式得先進去到特權模式，並輸入

Test#copy running-config startup-config

確定覆蓋就按下Enter吧
Destination filename [startup-config]? 
Building configuration...
[OK]

重開之後就不需要重新設定了

如果要刪除的話，輸入

Test#erase startup-config

確定刪除就按下Enter吧
Erasing the nvram filesystem will remove all configuration files! Continue? [confirm]
[OK]
Erase of nvram: complete

Cisco 修改Host name

修改Host name必須從使用者模式進入到特權模式

Router>enable

接著在進入到全域設定模式

Router#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.

輸入

Router(config)#hostname test
test(config)#

就修改完成

Cisco Packet Tracer 設定Router DHCP

 Packet Tracer 是最近在上網路工程所用的一套模擬軟體，這套模擬軟體應該跟Cisco真實設定相去不遠

我的網路架構是由一個Router、一個Switch和三台電腦所組成的
